Masterpiece Pumpkins gives pumpkin carving demonstrations all day Saturday and Sunday at the Los Angeles Zoo on the weekend before Halloween. Carving a new pumpkin every 1/2 hour gives hundreds of people opportunities to stop by and learn how to carve pumpkins from patterns, as well as pick up carving tricks and tips from an expert. Many examples of real and artificial carved pumpkins are on display.
